Our story
Small shop, big heart
Aangan means the courtyard of an Indian home, the place where everyone gathers. This shop started the same way: in our home in Chicago, with a love for comfortable, pretty clothes that are hard to find here.
Every piece is hand-picked, checked and packed by us. Have a question about fit or fabric? Just message us. You'll be talking to a real person.

How do the sizes run?
Indian sizing runs a little smaller than US sizing. Check the size guide. If you're between sizes, go one up. Happy to help over text or email.
How much is shipping?
A flat $8 anywhere in the US, free on orders over $100. Orders ship within 2–3 business days by USPS.
Can I pick up my order?
Can I return or exchange?
We gladly exchange unworn items with tags within 7 days of delivery or pickup. Just message us first. Since we're a tiny shop, sale and festive items are final sale.
How do I wash these?
Cotton and rayon pieces: gentle cold wash or hand wash separately (prints may bleed the first time), dry in shade. Embroidered pieces: dry clean recommended.
Will the color look exactly like the photo?
Very close, though screens vary a little. Message us and we'll send a real photo of the piece before you order.
